CoursePad is an application for iPhone and iPad for Coursera. It lets you download video lectures and watch them offline, with subtitles and playback speed control, takes notes and read slides.
Coursera is the leader in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), offering hundreds of courses from the best universities, for free.
Yes, log in on CoursePad using your Coursera account. If you don't have an account, first sign up.
CoursePad communicates directly with the Coursera servers and your informations (including email and password) are never stored on our servers.
CoursePad runs on both iPhone and iPad with at least iOS 5.1.
CoursePad is free.
I am a Coursera student and I made CoursePad to watch my courses offline. I don't plan to make money out of it.
Besides, I believe education should be available to anyone, at an affordable price.
Consider giving to (TODO: LOOK FOR CHARITIES). If you do, send me a screenshot/picture and I'll put your name here. Giving to charity is the best support you can show me.
I'm trying my best to improve CoursePad. If you have a feature request, contact me. As I am developing CoursePad only during my spare time, I can't promess I'll add all suggestions but at least I'll have a look at it.
Content can be deleted from the lectures menu.
When you delete a lecture, all content (video, subtitles and slides) are removed. Your personal notes are not removed.
